1. Acceptance of Terms

By using FixMyWAV, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using the tool.

2. "As-Is" Service & No Liability

This tool is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind. FixMyWAV mathematically modifies the binary headers of your audio files to improve CDJ compatibility. While the process is designed and tested to be completely safe, you use this tool entirely at your own risk.

Under no circumstances shall the developer be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this tool. This includes, but is not limited to: corrupted audio files, data loss, hardware damage, or any professional repercussions (such as failed live performances, lost gigs, or loss of income).

3. Backup Your Data

It is your sole responsibility to maintain backups of your original audio data. You are strongly advised to back up all music files prior to processing them through FixMyWAV.

Privacy & Cookie Policy

1. Local File Processing

Your privacy and the security of your music are our top priorities. FixMyWAV processes all audio files strictly locally within your web browser using JavaScript. We do not upload, store, monitor, or transmit your audio files to any external servers. Your unreleased tracks remain entirely on your personal device.

2. No Cookies or Trackers (Currently)

At this time, FixMyWAV is entirely ad-free and tracker-free. We do not use any cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party tracking services. We do not collect, store, or sell any personal data.

3. Future Updates

To help maintain server costs and keep this tool free, we may introduce third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future. If and when this happens, this policy will be updated to reflect the use of advertising cookies, and you will be prompted with a Consent Management banner to manage your tracking preferences in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
